I did my undergraduate work at San Francisco State University, where I earned a BA in political science. I was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society. I obtained my JD from Golden Gate University School of Law. While attending law school, I clerked for the Office of the Attorney General and the California Supreme Court.

I am admitted in California, Hawaii and Washington D.C.  I am an active member of the California Bar. I have been practicing in California since I was admitted in 1991. I spent my first eight (8) years of practice in the San Francisco Bay Area. I represented people in counties throughout the Bay Area in criminal and civil matters. The civil portion of my practice included family law, bankruptcy, juvenile dependency, landlord- tenant and personal injury.

I relocated to Southern California in May 1991 and moved my practice to downtown Los Angeles.  Part of my practice is devoted to per diem work for trial lawyers. I have covered matters in personal injury, wrongful death, construction defect, workers compensation,  landlord tenant, real estate, collections, business law, and family law .  I appear in Los Angeles Superior Court at the Central District courthouse in downtown Los Angeles on a regular basis. I’ve covered depositions at many of the law firms in downtown LA.  I‘ve also covered matters in Orange, San Bernardino and Ventura counties.

I regularly attend continuing education courses at the LA County Bar Association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. I also participate in workshops and seminars put on by the Trial Advocacy Program (TAP) of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Hence, I am up to date on changes in the law, and I possess the skills to competently represent your firm and your clients.
